Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and budgeting, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participants in the conceptual development of a construction project to oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation until its successful commissioning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods; schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
Ensure the direction and supervision of workers; determine labour requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and designers to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress and cost tracking reports.
- Initiate requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
- Develop and implement quality control programs; inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations.

Previous solid experience in engineering projects in PRC is preferred.
Minimum 10 years' relevant working experience with at least 3 years' in managerial level.
Good interpersonal skills, fluent spoken English & Putonghua are necessary, French is a plus.
